Dialectical Behavior Therapy & Mindfulness

Dialectical behavior therapy is designed to help
people change patterns of behavior that are not
helpful and increase their emotional and cognitive
regulation by learning about the triggers that lead
to reactive states. This type of therapy employs
mindfulness- a technique that emphasizes the
importance of living in the present moment. This
training will introduce one to coping skills and
mindfulness techniques they can use on their own
or with others.
